This is a short waterfall sim using Real Flow and Maya. I’ve done fluid simulations before but wanted to get some practice adding foam, mist and spray.
After doing the sim, I went into After Effects comped in a short clip of clouds, adjusted the key so the mountain edges were not so sharp and added a little starglow to the water and a little film grain to unify the overall look.
