Overview
This custom website design focused on being a promotional and informational tool for the writer JW Waters to showcase his book, “The Modern Primitives”.
Design
Because most of the information was static, a CMS was not required. Instead, dynamic content for speaking events is updated with an XML data page that feeds information through the CSS styles for display. The author has some technical experience with XML so this was approved as an acceptable solution for occasional updates. In addition to the basic site design, NiteOwl Studio worked with the author to create a color palate and graphics that reflect the tone of his book. The site also includes a dynamic Twitter feed and access to other social networks.
